Glorious, Glorious Cereal

hi everyone! again, i'm talking to you watchers because... well. i really believe that journal entries are most useful for those who watch that artist. i for one enjoy it very much when the artist i am watching posts up a journal entry. it is always exciting to hear what someone has to say, and especially more so because i admire that person and i would like to know more about the mind behind the creative force. you know, you can tell what kind of character a person has through his artwork, and it is interesting to see how the nature of the journal entries matches up with the overall feeling in his gallery.
i always feel like writing journal entries for dA, but i never type anything up mostly because i feel like i have to be restrained and conservative. the truth is, i feel like i have to be nicer than i really am; i also have this nagging conscience that tells me to be formal so that i can appear to be educated and intelligent with class. therefore, i think i need to write about deep or thought provoking topics that might spark a debate. but you know, the joy in writing comes not only from talking about profound things, but also that which sparkles in the world that only you can see, which no one else has the remote right to define in your place.
there are many things which move me which i would like post on dA, but for some mysterious reason which i will not name for all to understand (sorry guys ;P), i do not write down the thoughts which cross my mind and parade around long enough for me to feel an urge to share the idea with prying eyes.
i felt like writing about cereal at the start of my journal entry, but now the enthusiasm is much weaker. part of the loss of interest is due to the annoying fact that internet explorer decided to be retarded and it froze on me, so i had to retype it. oh well, i always pay great attention to what i write, and greater attention still to the way in which i word things, so i was able to type it up fast XDDDD
shall i proceed to write about cereal? or should i write about the numerous other things that are floating around in my mind?

cereal is an extraordinary food. i wonder who invented it? ever since i came to college, i have been devouring cereal like crazy. part of the reason why i consume so much cereal is so that i do not grow fat on fatty snacks like goldfish (which i still eat often) and oreos which are oh-so-good with their sugary insides and their hard, black cases that are so crunchy and which stick to your teeth so that you have to run your tongue along the inside and outside of them (your teeth) in order to clean every last crumb from your mouth. college is a place that has convenient stores located less than 3 minutes downstairs from your dorm room. inside those stores are isles of tantalizing snacks lined up and glistening in their smart plastic packages and bright colors. at home, i do not do much shopping for food, so self control when it comes to food it not a big problem. at college, i have to shop for water and fruits, and do you know where i get those essential food products? that's right. i buy them downstairs at that convenient store that is filled with junk food for the lazy, the unsuspecting, the innocent college student who wants to have a quick snack for the overnight studying. i think my top three favorite snacks to eat in college are oreos, goldfish (parmesan), and sun-maid all-natural california raisons (the ones in the red boxes with the brown haired girl framed by yellow in the front).
:milk::milk::donut::donut::donut::milk::milk::milk:
although those snacks are addicting, and i can't stop once i start the first bite, cereal is the ultimate college food. take this from a college freshman who is new to college and who does not know much about the world. there are many things which are difficult in college, but cereal, CEREAL is purely easy. if you need to cram for an exam that you need to take in the evening and you do not want to waste time eating but you still want to eat something to keep you energized, cereal is the perfect solution. just fill your bowl up with that wholesome cereal and pour milk over it, and enjoy yourself for the five minutes that it takes for you to chew that tasty delight which fills yours ears with crunch, crunch, crunch. Better yet, the experience of eating cereal is magnified ten fold when you do have time. Cereal is a classic meal. I guess people grow up eating it for breakfast, but you know, cereal makes a great lunch and even a satisfying dinner. Don't have a bowl? Don't have milk? Don't have silverware? Those obstacles are nothing against the versatility of cereal. You can simply sit there studying or browsing through dA while reaching one hand into the box and grabbing handful after handful of tasty, nutritious food. Another wonder of cereal is that you feel good after eating it because you know that it is not made up of much fat - best of all is that it is only approximately 150 calories with skim milk. I do not drink skim milk, so the bowl of cereal I eat is probably around 220 calories which is less than one bar of Twix or Snickers or Milky Way etc. Wow. I switched to proper grammar with capitalization of my sentences. I didn't even notice it. oh well, it probably made it easier to read this paragraph. i was going to go on about the different brands of cereal that i love to eat, but i think this journal entry is getting really lengthy. haha no kidding, right? i know that it IS long. in the next entry, i might talk about my favorites: lucky charms, fruit loops, and cheerios!!!!!!!!!! XDDDDDDDD

holy crap it's 3:25am. i totally forgot about the time change haha. time to go back to studying chemistry >o< everyone, i hope you are doing well. if you are struggling or if you are going through a tough time in your life, just know that it is impossible that your life will always stay like that. even if you cannot see a break in the clouds to see a beam of sunlight streaking down to earth, time will be by your side. it will carry you on, and change should be expected.
thanks for watching me T____T. i wouldn't mind knowing more about the people who watch me. send me a note or something if you ever have any questions. don't be afraid to ask ^__________^
